Rev. Dr. Jeff Paterson has served in the Western NC conference for 30+ years and before coming to Wesley Memorial, he was the district superintendent of the Yadkin Valley district. He is passionate about people coming to Christ and growing spiritually into Christ-likeness. He is married to Tammy, and they have two adult children, Elizabeth and Caleb.

Rev. Clark Chilton joined the pastoral team at Wesley Memorial in July 2019 as the associate pastor of contemporary worship and evangelism. He is a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is an elder in the Global Methodist Church.

Ken Lyon serves as our part-time associate pastor of generosity and church vitality. Ken is a retired elder in the United Methodist Church and has served the United Methodist Church for over 40 years, most notably at Matthews UMC in Charlotte and in many churches across Western North Carolina.

Rev. Glenn Myers serves as our part-time pastor of congregational care. Glen is a retired elder in the United Methodist Church and has served in the Western NC Conference for many decades.

Caleb Janney joined the Wesley Memorial team in August 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in worship leadership. He began leading worship at the age of 14 and has since served in a full-time capacity as a worship leader in Columbus, GA. Over the past seven years, Caleb has led worship across the metro Atlanta area, collaborating with several ministries. He is deeply passionate about exalting the name of Jesus through worship. Caleb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Columbus State University and has furthered his education at the 10,000 Fathers and Mothers Worship School, where he focused on pastoral leadership and discipleship.

Ann Marie Chilton joined the Wesley Memorial team as the interim director in April 2020 and then became the full-time director of children's ministry in June 2020. She has a variety of experience leading children's music and is passionate about relaying biblical truths to the next generation. She has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Literary Nonfiction from Queens University of Charlotte and is a homeschooling mom of two.

Stephanie Peters has a wealth of music and worship experience including six years in Music Education and four years as a Children's Choir Director. She is a registered dietician as well as a homeschooling mother of two wonderful kids.

Harrison brings nearly 20 years of experience in student ministry, having served at churches in both Oak Ridge, NC, and Athens, TN, as well as in camping ministry, where he first felt called to walk alongside young people in their faith journeys. Over the years, he has led more than twenty mission trips, mentored interns, and built discipleship-focused teams rooted in authentic relationships and community impact.

Harrison is passionate about helping students feel seen, known, and deeply loved by Jesus. He and his wife, Shawna, along with their adventurous 9-year-old daughter, Isabella, are thrilled to become part of the Wesley Memorial family.

Kaide Sledge has served with Wesley Memorial students since 2023. She helps with programming, logistics and administration.

Diane Harper is the mother of three and the grandmother of three. A veteran who served in both the Army and the Navy during the Gulf War Era, Peacetime and Vietnam Era. She has earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Duke Divinity School, a Master of Professional Counseling Degree from Liberty University and is a licensed Christian counselor in North Carolina. Diane is an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The truth is this, "I would be nothing without my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My goal as a counselor is to help others be made whole through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

Claire graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Music Education. She is continuing her education at UNCG this fall, pursuing a master’s degree in Education Administration. She has been serving in education for 18 years and loves guiding children through social and emotional skills and cognitive development. 

Chaun’s career in education began 35 years ago at Wesley Memorial as a teacher assistant. She has a master’s degree from High Point University in Educational Leadership and Administration. She believes that children’s future begins in early childhood education, where young minds are shaped and influenced. Her passion is supporting teachers in the social, emotional, academic, and spiritual growth of the children in our program. 

Starting in 2022, Melody served as the part-time Director of Communications, and became full time in April of 2023. She has a Masters in Strategic Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from High Point University and is an adjunct professor at High Point University in the Nido Qubein School of Communication.
